This belt is primarily used to help a patient to get up or sit down on the floor. It reduces the risk of back injury to staff during transfer procedures. The easy-to-fasten "fix-lock" buckle allows the caregiver to retighten the belt once the individual is in a standing position, without having to open the belt.
